The Location

The Hotel is situated in a village just outside of Mazarron Port in Murcia and some 50 mts to the sea front. The village has shops, banks and restaurants and the sea is within a 5 minute walk. Mazarron Port and town is a 5 minute drive away and the main auto-route is a short distance away. There is a bus service from and to the village from the town and port of Mazarron.

The motorway link is just 5 minutes away and the airports of Murcia and Almeria are approximately 1 hr 10 minutes drive. Cartegena City where the big ships dock is only 20 minutes drive also.

The Development

This 4 star Spa Hotel is situated in a village near the town of Puerto Mazarron which could make a wonderful retirement resort with accommodation for both independent residents and for those requiring care including short stay and permanent residents. This hotel would also make a perfect wellness resort.

The Hotel is made up of 113 good sized rooms and 4, 1 bed suites all of which have sea views which could be utilised for guests using the hotel as a retirement/wellness resort or transformed to produce some 44 apartments for permanent residents with some conversion of some of the rooms, leaving 25 rooms for short stay guests or those with caring needs. Alternatively convert all the rooms to provide some 56 apartments and use the hotel as an aparthotel for those over 55. It is envisaged that some semi and detached properties will also be available after further construction within the grounds.

Also there is an attached plot of land measuring 80,000M2 that was once earmarked for a golf course but which could also provide additional amenities such as an international green bowls venue, tennis courts, lake etc which may be utilised. There are also shop units at the front of the building that can be utilised in a way to benefit a 21st century retirement resort,
